With so many kids in the family, money was often tight. We took only a handful of family vacations and only ventured into restaurants on special occasions. But we played in a family band together (some of us enjoyed it), played on the same teams, sat in the stands cheering for each other, and always had someone to ride with on the roller coaster at Great America. We absolutely did not get along all the time. There are rumors that thumbs may have been broken in a scuffle or two and that certain siblings turned down opposite corridors to avoid each other at high school. But today, the Hunter kids are a constant party waiting to happen. Get two or more of us together, and the laughter will follow. Hunter Ingenuity is mostly about celebrating all that we have individually accomplished and recognizing our collective strengths. Our parents taught us to work hard, to do nothing without giving it 100 percent, and to confidently step out into the world. It has not always been easy, but it has always been worth the effort. |
